{"data":{"id":"us-vt/8-v.s.a.-4847","jurisdiction":"us-vt","citation":"8 V.S.A. § 4847","heading":"Subscribers’ advisory committee","body":"(a) The advisory committee of a domestic reciprocal insurer exercising the subscribers’ rights shall be selected under such rules as the subscriber adopts.\n(b) Not less than two-thirds of the committee shall be subscribers.\n(c) The committee shall:\n(1) supervise the finances of the insurer;\n(2) supervise the insurer’s operations to such extent as to ensure conformity with the subscribers’ agreement and power of attorney;\n(3) procure the audit of the accounts and records of the insurer and of the attorney at the expense of the insurer; and\n(4) have such additional powers and functions as may be conferred by the subscribers’ agreement.","path":["Title 8: Banking and Insurance","Chapter 132: Reciprocal Insurers"],"source_url":"https://legislature.vermont.gov/statutes/section/08/132/04847","current_through":"2025 session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T13:52:51Z","sha256":"40a6682bd52e850fbf0da8b8531e1e5e0a3e95210bcb1f63123350b2d46ee5e1","source_id":"us-vt","stale":false,"prev":"us-vt/8-v.s.a.-4846","next":"us-vt/8-v.s.a.-4848"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
