{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-11.130.715","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 11.130.715","heading":"Scope.","body":"An adult with a disability may voluntarily, without undue influence or coercion, enter into a supported decision-making agreement with a supporter under which the adult with a disability authorizes the supporter to do any or all of the following:\n(1) Provide supported decision making, including assistance in understanding the options, responsibilities, and consequences of the adult's life decisions, without making those decisions on behalf of the adult with a disability;\n(2) Assist the adult in accessing, collecting, and obtaining information that is relevant to a given life decision, including medical, psychological, financial, educational, or treatment records, from any person;\n(3) Assist the adult with a disability in understanding the information described in subsection (2) of this section; and\n(4) Assist the adult in communicating the adult's decisions to appropriate persons.","path":["Title 11","Chapter 11.130"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=11.130.715","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:01:14Z","sha256":"38d8ec0c6cf17c1c9030bae5162cfd39cc96afbee2ab777b3140fbe909424490","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-11.130.710","next":"us-wa/rcw-11.130.720"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
