{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-11.98.002","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 11.98.002","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter, and throughout this title where specifically referenced, unless the context clearly requires otherwise.\n(1) \"Permissible distributee\" means a trust beneficiary who is currently eligible to receive distributions of trust income or principal, whether the distribution is mandatory or discretionary.\n(2) \"Qualified beneficiary\" means a trust beneficiary who, on the date that such beneficiary's qualification is determined:\n(a) Is a permissible distributee;\n(b) Would be a permissible distributee if the interests of the distributees described in (a) of this subsection terminated on that date; or\n(c) Would be a permissible distributee if the trust terminated on that date.","path":["Title 11","Chapter 11.98"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=11.98.002","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:59:52Z","sha256":"77d380381bcebd30d38f2966fc3a38d271c0bc85b783c8c2947146618307a8fd","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-11.97.900","next":"us-wa/rcw-11.98.005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
