{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-15.130.560","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 15.130.560","heading":"Criminal penalties.","body":"(1) A person who knowingly violates RCW 15.130.200 through 15.130.240, 15.130.500, 15.130.520, or 15.130.540 is guilty of a misdemeanor subject to a penalty of not more than two hundred dollars.\n(2) A person who knowingly violates RCW 15.130.200 through 15.130.240, 15.130.500, 15.130.520, or 15.130.540 following a first offense under subsection (1) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor subject to a penalty of imprisonment for not more than thirty days or a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or both.\n(3) A person who knowingly violates RCW 15.130.200 through 15.130.240, 15.130.500, 15.130.520, or 15.130.540 with intent to defraud or mislead is guilty of a misdemeanor subject to a penalty of imprisonment for not more than ninety days or a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or both.\n(4) Before reporting a violation for criminal prosecution, the department must provide the affected person with notice and opportunity to present oral or written comment to the department.","path":["Title 15","Chapter 15.130"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=15.130.560","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:09:08Z","sha256":"3f3adf6a2e3e0bd7f4430e4e0bc24ff1efc8bb472ac48659c44c90d693cacc0c","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-15.130.550","next":"us-wa/rcw-15.130.570"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
