{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-15.49.021","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 15.49.021","heading":"Standards and label requirements—Rules.","body":"(1) The department shall establish by rule standards and label requirements for the following seed types: Agricultural seed (including grass, lawn, and turf seed), flower seed, and vegetable seed.\n(2) The standards and label requirements shall be divided into the following categories:\n(a) Percentage of kind and variety of each seed component present; and\n(b) Percentage of weed seed (restricted and common).\n(3) The standards and label requirements developed by the department shall at a minimum include:\n(a) Amount of inert material;\n(b) Specifics and warning for treated seed;\n(c) Specifics for coated seed;\n(d) Specifics and duration for inoculated seed;\n(e) Specifics for seed which is below standard;\n(f) Specifics for seed contained in containers, mats, tapes, or other planting devices;\n(g) Specifics for seed sold in bulk;\n(h) Specifics for hybrid seed; and\n(i) Specifics for seed mixtures.","path":["Title 15","Chapter 15.49"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=15.49.021","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:06:58Z","sha256":"143302ee3f8de21ff8df8077795c5647ce0f51b5aa3de260cb1f26ad91dda430","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-15.49.011","next":"us-wa/rcw-15.49.031"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
