{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.155.070","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.155.070","heading":"Certificate—Requirements.","body":"The department shall issue a certificate to any applicant who meets the following requirements:\n(1) Successful completion of an educational program approved by the secretary or successful completion of alternate training which meets the criteria of the secretary;\n(2) Successful completion of any experience requirement established by the secretary;\n(3) Successful completion of an examination administered or approved by the secretary;\n(4) Not having engaged in unprofessional conduct or being unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety as a result of a physical or mental impairment;\n(5) Not convicted of a sex offense, as defined in RCW 9.94A.030 or convicted in any other jurisdiction of an offense that under the laws of this state would be classified as a sex offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030; and\n(6) Other requirements as may be established by the secretary that impact the competence of the sex offender treatment provider.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.155"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.155.070","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:21:19Z","sha256":"da82a5ae308f9d68bf0bab05f45ca7c370eb39402cc2844dc979644580f9587f","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.155.060","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.155.075"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
