{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.215.040","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.215.040","heading":"Secretary's authority.","body":"In addition to any other authority provided by law, the secretary has the authority to:\n(1) Adopt rules under chapter 34.05 RCW as required to implement this chapter;\n(2) Establish all registration and renewal fees in accordance with RCW 43.70.250;\n(3) Establish forms and procedures necessary to administer this chapter;\n(4) Register an applicant or deny registration based upon unprofessional conduct or impairment governed by the uniform disciplinary act, chapter 18.130 RCW;\n(5) Hire clerical, administrative, investigative, and other staff as needed to implement this chapter; and\n(6) Maintain the official department record of all applicants and persons with registrations.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.215"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.215.040","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:22:18Z","sha256":"391383fe6e9915284a55ec6397e7bc07ab4cc90ff68eafd46c9d7d17cfe6d3ba","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.215.030","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.215.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
