{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.22.040","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.22.040","heading":"Applicants—Fee—Eligibility.","body":"Before any person may take an examination for the issuance of a podiatric physician and surgeon license, the applicant shall submit a completed application and a fee determined by the secretary as provided in RCW 43.70.250. The applicant shall also furnish the secretary and the board with satisfactory proof that:\n(1) The applicant has not engaged in unprofessional conduct as defined in chapter 18.130 RCW and is not unable to practice with reasonable skill and safety as a result of a physical or mental impairment;\n(2) The applicant has satisfactorily completed a course in an approved school of podiatric medicine and surgery;\n(3) The applicant has completed one year of postgraduate podiatric medical training in a program approved by the board, provided that applicants graduating before July 1, 1993, shall be exempt from the postgraduate training requirement.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.22"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.22.040","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:15:30Z","sha256":"ecb9636dce0065b003c5c8f15bdc95e78e3741e78dfaf727c16a1d4753121202","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.22.035","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.22.045"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
