{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.310.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.310.020","heading":"Powers and duties of director.","body":"The director shall:\n(1) Adopt rules to implement this chapter;\n(2) Establish appropriate administrative procedures for the processing of the applications;\n(3) Issue licenses to qualified companies under the provisions of this chapter;\n(4) Maintain a roster of the names and addresses of companies licensed under this chapter;\n(5) Employ professional, clerical, and technical assistance as may be necessary to properly administer the work of the director;\n(6) Establish forms necessary to administer this chapter;\n(7) Oversee the performance of any background investigations;\n(8) Initiate and oversee investigations and any audits;\n(9) Establish grounds for disciplinary actions;\n(10) Adopt fees under RCW 43.24.086; and\n(11) Do all other things necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter and comply with the requirements of any pertinent federal laws pertaining to appraisal management companies.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.310"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.310.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:23:39Z","sha256":"80b639893fbb3cbd84d31887f16663e8718871f79d0c6c3451a976e9f70b7914","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.310.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.310.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
