{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.57.083","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.57.083","heading":"Maintenance of certification.","body":"(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, the board may not require an osteopathic physician and surgeon to participate in a maintenance of certification requirement as a condition of licensure or license renewal. The board may allow a physician to fulfill license renewal requirements through satisfactory participation in a recognized maintenance of certification program.\n(2) This section does not apply to board certification requirements or maintenance of certification requirements included in any of the following:\n(a) A stipulation to informal disposition under RCW 18.130.172;\n(b) An order issued to resolve a statement of charges under RCW 18.130.090;\n(c) An order issued under RCW 18.130.160; or\n(d) A reinstatement order issued under RCW 18.130.150.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.57"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.57.083","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:17:52Z","sha256":"43590b0935739e38cf23bf4b84864abd19b2adaeae797c4776bbe0ee3a5ab6fc","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.57.080","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.57.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
