{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-18.74.030","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 18.74.030","heading":"Qualifications of applicants.","body":"(1) An applicant for a license as a physical therapist shall have the following minimum qualifications:\n(a) Be of good moral character; and\n(b) Have obtained either (i) a baccalaureate degree in physical therapy from an institution of higher learning approved by the board or (ii) a baccalaureate degree from an institution of higher learning and a certificate or advanced degree from a school of physical therapy approved by the board.\n(2) An applicant for a license as a physical therapist assistant must have the following minimum qualifications:\n(a) Be of good moral character; and\n(b) Have successfully completed a board-approved physical therapist assistant program.\n(3) The applicant shall present proof of qualification to the board in the manner and on the forms prescribed by the board.","path":["Title 18","Chapter 18.74"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=18.74.030","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:18:47Z","sha256":"b2d1629de395b4881f5743c0aaf622c75c4e666f31e539bff8c5f9fb78c5f27d","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-18.74.029","next":"us-wa/rcw-18.74.033"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
