For the purpose of RCW 2.06.010 through 2.06.100 the following terms shall have the following meanings:\n(1) \"Rules\" means rules of the supreme court.\n(2) \"Chief justice\" means chief justice of the supreme court.\n(3) \"Court\" means court of appeals.\n(4) \"Judge\" means judge of the court of appeals.\n(5) \"Division\" means a division of the court of appeals.\n(6) \"District\" means a geographic subdivision of a division from which judges of the court of appeals are elected.\n(7) \"General election\" means the biennial election at which members of the house of representatives are elected.","path":["Title 2","Chapter 2.06"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=2.06.010","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:24:51Z","sha256":"f304d6efd4a7112ad35446fed1f8f2be598be454ab4b21ae07436ec9ca305746","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-2.04.260","next":"us-wa/rcw-2.06.020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
