{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-23.95.445","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 23.95.445","heading":"Resignation of registered agent.","body":"(1) A registered agent may resign as agent for a represented entity by delivering to the secretary of state for filing a statement of resignation executed by the agent which states:\n(a) The name of the entity;\n(b) The name of the agent;\n(c) That the agent resigns from serving as registered agent for the entity; and\n(d) The address of the entity to which the agent will send the notice required by subsection (3) of this section.\n(2) A statement of resignation takes effect on the earlier of:\n(a) The 31st day after the day on which it is filed by the secretary of state; or\n(b) The designation of a new registered agent for the represented entity.\n(3) A registered agent promptly shall furnish to the represented entity notice in a record of the date on which a statement of resignation was filed.","path":["Title 23","Chapter 23.95"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=23.95.445","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:37:32Z","sha256":"1312f29f49bdbe2d848d3b7fe15f4e765a3260a860da2e57ad178df110b6b002","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-23.95.440","next":"us-wa/rcw-23.95.450"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
