{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-26.21a.025","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 26.21A.025","heading":"Application of chapter to resident of foreign country and foreign support proceeding.","body":"(1) A tribunal of this state shall apply Articles 1 through 6 of this chapter and, as applicable, Article 7 of this chapter, to a support proceeding involving:\n(a) A foreign support order;\n(b) A foreign tribunal; or\n(c) An obligee, obligor, or child residing in a foreign country.\n(2) A tribunal of this state that is requested to recognize and enforce a support order on the basis of comity may apply the procedural and substantive provisions of Articles 1 through 6 of this chapter.\n(3) Article 7 of this chapter applies only to a support proceeding under the convention.
