{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-26.21a.125","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 26.21A.125","heading":"Continuing jurisdiction to enforce child support order.","body":"(1) A tribunal of this state that has issued a child support order consistent with the law of this state may serve as an initiating tribunal to request a tribunal of another state to enforce:\n(a) The order if the order is the controlling order and has not been modified by a tribunal of another state that assumed jurisdiction pursuant to the uniform interstate family support act; or\n(b) A money judgment for arrears of support and interest on the order accrued before a determination that an order of a tribunal of another state is the controlling order.\n(2) A tribunal of this state having continuing jurisdiction over a support order may act as a responding tribunal to enforce the order.","path":["Title 26","Chapter 26.21A"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=26.21A.125","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:42:38Z","sha256":"fdca790990544fbf0ab02b9b02343c39c1c45b3ab6a2aba278b647d33ebe7d96","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-26.21a.120","next":"us-wa/rcw-26.21a.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
