{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-28a.255.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 28A.255.020","heading":"Enrollment funding—Rule making.","body":"(1) By September 1, 2025, the office of the superintendent of public instruction shall adopt rules to authorize full-time enrollment funding for students enrolled in competency-based education programs identified by the state board of education based on:\n(a) School membership in the mastery-based learning collaborative established in section 502(2), chapter 334, Laws of 2021 or the school having a current waiver from credit-based graduation requirements granted by the state board of education under RCW 28A.300.750; or\n(b) The process developed by the state board of education under RCW 28A.255.030.\n(2) Rules adopted pursuant to this section must permit school districts to report full-time equivalent students in eligible competency-based education programs for general apportionment funding.","path":["Title 28A","Chapter 28A.255"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=28A.255.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:45:54Z","sha256":"e7fb6ebe9d8306e6c96ef0ea3028c967fcac39cc8522f27cd5bf910baa2443c2","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-28a.255.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-28a.255.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
