{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-28b.10.592","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 28B.10.592","heading":"College textbook information—Publishers' duties.","body":"(1) Each publisher of college textbooks shall make immediately available to faculty of institutions of higher education:\n(a) The price at which the publisher would make the products available to the store run by or in a contractual relationship with the institution of higher education that would offer the products to students; and\n(b) The history of revisions for the products, if any.\n(2) For the purposes of this section:\n(a) \"Immediately available\" means with any marketing materials presented to a member of the faculty.\n(b) \"Products\" means all versions of a textbook or set of textbooks, except custom textbooks or special editions of textbooks, available in the subject area for which a faculty member is teaching a course, including supplemental items, both when sold together or separately from a textbook.","path":["Title 28B","Chapter 28B.10"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=28B.10.592","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:51:42Z","sha256":"32f8f12efbbf1f6bf9df9832b92b27cc76ded799ab9323f8ccfd47e43725432b","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-28b.10.590","next":"us-wa/rcw-28b.10.600"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
