Part 1007.102;\n(2) An attorney licensed in Washington who negotiates the terms of a residential mortgage loan on behalf of a client as an ancillary matter to the attorney's representation of the client, unless the attorney is compensated by a lender, a mortgage broker, or other mortgage loan originator or by any agent of a lender, mortgage broker, or other mortgage loan originator;\n(3) Any individual who offers or negotiates terms of a residential mortgage loan with or on behalf of an immediate family member; or\n(4) Any individual who offers or negotiates terms of a residential mortgage loan secured by a dwelling that served as the individual's residence.","path":["Title 31","Chapter 31.04"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=31.04.224","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:25:29Z","sha256":"9b79c49f17a3c3d38b0d7ac9e59afced197376f46488b1008ad194fec7e82ad6","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-31.04.221","next":"us-wa/rcw-31.04.227"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
