{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-33.08.055","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 33.08.055","heading":"Certificate of incorporation—Application, contents—Filing fee.","body":"When the incorporators of a domestic association deliver the articles of incorporation and bylaws to the director, the incorporators shall submit an application for a certificate of incorporation, signed and verified by the incorporators, together with the filing fee. The application shall set forth:\n(1) The names and addresses of the incorporators and proposed directors and officers of the association;\n(2) A statement of the character, financial responsibility, experience, and fitness of the directors and officers to engage in the association business;\n(3) Statements of estimated receipts, expenditures, earnings, and financial condition of the association for the first two years or such longer period as the director may require;\n(4) A showing that the association will have a reasonable chance to succeed in the market area in which it proposes to operate;\n(5) A showing that the public convenience and advantage will be promoted by the formation of the proposed association; and\n(6) Any other matters the director may require.","path":["Title 33","Chapter 33.08"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=33.08.055","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:05:39Z","sha256":"4fdfbe3ae05c03b2977a38e7fcab513a018c65598828f63fed6143b63f91c911","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-33.08.050","next":"us-wa/rcw-33.08.060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
