{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-36.170.030","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 36.170.030","heading":"Board to adopt rules.","body":"(1) The board shall adopt rules to select preservation and improvement projects under this chapter taking into consideration, at a minimum, the following priority rating factors:\n(a) Investment in overburdened communities;\n(b) Environmental health disparities as identified in the environmental health disparities map specified in RCW 43.70.815;\n(c) Location on or providing direct access to a federally recognized Indian reservation or lands;\n(d) Sustaining the structural, safety, and operational integrity of the road;\n(e) Vehicle and pedestrian collision experience;\n(f) Access improvements to a community facility; and\n(g) Identified need in a state, regional, county, or community plan.\n(2) Proposed projects must be included in the respective county's six-year plan as provided in RCW 36.81.121 before board approval of the project.","path":["Title 36","Chapter 36.170"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=36.170.030","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:34:32Z","sha256":"59ccc1f9dc5419ed3357d0ae465658a6da1c8d036909d6391e9aa191e7015a39","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-36.170.020","next":"us-wa/rcw-36.170.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
