{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-36.32.570","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 36.32.570","heading":"Conservation area acquisition and maintenance.","body":"The legislative authority of each county may acquire a fee simple interest, or lesser interest, in conservation areas in the county and may maintain the conservation areas. The conservation areas may be acquired and maintained with moneys obtained from the excise tax under RCW 82.46.070, or any other moneys available for such purposes.\nAs used in this section, the term \"conservation area\" means land and water that has environmental, agricultural, aesthetic, cultural, scientific, historic, scenic, or low-intensity recreational value for existing and future generations, and includes, but is not limited to, open spaces, wetlands, marshes, aquifer recharge areas, shoreline areas, natural areas, and other lands and waters that are important to preserve flora and fauna.","path":["Title 36","Chapter 36.32"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=36.32.570","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:28:36Z","sha256":"de2760dd757ab725721517e11b51afb93e025b3a8fef46aa90603029fecb4aaa","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-36.32.560","next":"us-wa/rcw-36.32.580"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
