{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-38.38.848","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 38.38.848","heading":"[Art. 137] Sections to be explained.","body":"(1) RCW 38.38.008, 38.38.012, 38.38.064 through 38.38.132, 38.38.252, 38.38.260, 38.38.372, 38.38.480, 38.38.624 through * 38.38.792, and 38.38.848 through 38.38.860 shall be carefully explained to every enlisted member:\n(a) At the time of the member's enlistment or transfer or induction;\n(b) At the time of the member's order to duty in or with any of the organized militia; or\n(c) Within forty days thereafter.\n(2) These sections shall also be explained again to each member of the organized militia each time a member of the organized militia reenlists or extends his or her enlistment.\n(3) A complete text of this code and of the regulations prescribed by the governor thereunder shall be made available to any member of the organized militia, upon request, for personal examination.","path":["Title 38","Chapter 38.38"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=38.38.848","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:36:32Z","sha256":"1dbf836d9722a2724e2e6cfa6f3787dd89fb10b08aa1f257fb9abe04b798d53d","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-38.38.844","next":"us-wa/rcw-38.38.852"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
