{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-39.19.170","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 39.19.170","heading":"Prequalification of minority and women-owned businesses—Waiver of performance bond.","body":"(1) State agencies shall not require a performance bond for any public works project that does not exceed twenty-five thousand dollars awarded to a prequalified and certified minority or woman-owned business that has been prequalified as provided under subsection (2) of this section.\n(2) A limited prequalification questionnaire shall be required assuring:\n(a) That the bidder has adequate financial resources or the ability to secure such resources;\n(b) That the bidder can meet the performance schedule;\n(c) That the bidder is experienced in the type of work to be performed; and\n(d) That all equipment to be used is adequate and functioning and that all equipment operators are qualified to operate such equipment.","path":["Title 39","Chapter 39.19"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=39.19.170","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:37:54Z","sha256":"4d92a248444489c4c8ab31f1d082f38e3c6a646e7475eb308cd637323644b0ae","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-39.19.160","next":"us-wa/rcw-39.19.200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
