{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-42.30.205","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 42.30.205","heading":"Training.","body":"(1) Every member of the governing body of a public agency must complete training on the requirements of this chapter no later than ninety days after the date the member either:\n(a) Takes the oath of office, if the member is required to take an oath of office to assume his or her duties as a public official; or\n(b) Otherwise assumes his or her duties as a public official.\n(2) In addition to the training required under subsection (1) of this section, every member of the governing body of a public agency must complete training at intervals of no more than four years as long as the individual is a member of the governing body or public agency.\n(3) Training may be completed remotely with technology including but not limited to internet-based training.","path":["Title 42","Chapter 42.30"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=42.30.205","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:07:11Z","sha256":"0cf8ad770f1c65e4f37c9015df159d9855ac27d30da5b1fb676845406cc1385e","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-42.30.200","next":"us-wa/rcw-42.30.210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
