{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-43.176.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 43.176.020","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter unless the context clearly requires otherwise.\n(1) \"Business incubator\" means a facility that offers:\n(a) Space for start-up and expanding firms;\n(b) The shared use of equipment and work areas;\n(c) Daily management support services essential to high quality commercial operations; and\n(d) Technical assistance.\n(2) \"Qualified small business incubator\" means an incubator that is:\n(a)(i) Designated as a nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or (ii) consists of a partnership between a designated nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and a government or quasi-government agency;\n(b) Focused on developing small businesses in an economically distressed or disadvantaged area; and\n(c) Structured around a sound business plan.","path":["Title 43","Chapter 43.176"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=43.176.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:57:16Z","sha256":"eb9156cdc2b5009395a01df6bb6f704e0764533d4562f7b07ec9a4c1559ab53e","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-43.176.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-43.176.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
