Thus, it would be wise to establish baseline data regarding the use and availability of evidence-based and research-based practices.\n(3) It is the intent of the legislature that increased use of evidence-based and research-based practices be accomplished to the extent possible within existing resources by coordinating the purchase of evidence-based services, the development of a trained workforce, and the development of unified and coordinated case plans to provide treatment in a coordinated and consistent manner.\n(4) The legislature recognizes that in order to effectively provide evidence-based and research-based practices, contractors should have a workforce trained in these programs, and outcomes from the use of these practices should be monitored.","path":["Title 43","Chapter 43.20C"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=43.20C.005","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:47:52Z","sha256":"0cc9c63807b9e888ac4cbe39f91d8f1ef65d7e0701e684c1c13dbd54e94ee122","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-43.20b.902","next":"us-wa/rcw-43.20c.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
