{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-43.216.260","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 43.216.260","heading":"Minimum requirements for licensure.","body":"Applications for licensure shall require, at a minimum, the following information:\n(1) The size and suitability of a facility or location for an outdoor nature-based child care program, and the plan of operation for carrying out the purpose for which an applicant seeks a license;\n(2) The character, suitability, and competence of an agency and other persons associated with an agency directly responsible for the care of children;\n(3) The number of qualified persons required to render the type of care for which an agency seeks a license;\n(4) To provide for the comfort, care, and well-being of children, information about the health, safety, cleanliness, and general adequacy of the premises, including the real property and premises for an outdoor nature-based child care program;\n(5) The provision of necessary care and early learning, including food, supervision, and discipline; physical, mental, and social well-being; and educational and recreational opportunities for those served;\n(6) The financial ability of an agency to comply with minimum requirements established under this chapter; and\n(7) The maintenance of records pertaining to the care of children.","path":["Title 43","Chapter 43.216"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=43.216.260","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:58:11Z","sha256":"a2ad7ded03108828546726b43621e7362005e8b24b99b367581bd10e167fc5e8","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-43.216.255","next":"us-wa/rcw-43.216.263"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
