{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-46.09.430","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 46.09.430","heading":"Use permits—Application requirements.","body":"(1) The application for a temporary ORV use permit must be made by the owner or the owner's authorized representative to the department, county auditor or other agent, or subagent appointed by the director on a form furnished or approved by the department. The application must contain:\n(a) The name and address of each owner of the off-road vehicle; and\n(b) Other information that the department may require.\n(2) The owner or the owner's authorized representative shall sign the application for a temporary ORV use permit.\n(3) The application for a temporary ORV use permit must be accompanied by the temporary ORV use permit fee required under RCW 46.17.400, in addition to any other fees or taxes due for the application.\n(4) A temporary ORV use permit:\n(a) Is valid for sixty days; and\n(b) Must be carried on the vehicle for which it was issued at all times during its operation in this state.","path":["Title 46","Chapter 46.09"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.09.430","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:03:33Z","sha256":"d9b66b84fd02e4da37b796e4f7479e7748d47209b01a61f35f71a4ef1f9d7554","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-46.09.420","next":"us-wa/rcw-46.09.440"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
