The zero tolerance policy must address the use of drugs or alcohol while a driver is providing prearranged rides or is logged in to the transportation network company's digital network but is not providing prearranged rides.\n(2) A transportation network company must provide notice of this policy on its website, as well as procedures to report a complaint about a driver with whom a passenger was matched and whom the passenger reasonably suspects was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the course of the trip.\n(3) A transportation network company must maintain records relevant to the enforcement of the policy under this section for a period of at least two years from the date that a passenger complaint is received by the transportation network company.","path":["Title 46","Chapter 46.72B"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.72B.080","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:05:51Z","sha256":"00d3364ecc8f1b31faf452564996183c26d2da7d8a4d4f8adfd8b91345f975ec","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-46.72b.070","next":"us-wa/rcw-46.72b.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
