(Effective October 1, 2026.)","body":"(1) Employers are not required by law to perform form I-9 self-audits. Any form I-9 self-audit must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local antidiscrimination and antiretaliation laws including, but not limited to: 8 U.S.C. Sec. 1324b, 29 U.S.C. Secs. 201–219, 29 U.S.C. Secs. 151–169, 42 U.S.C. Sec. 2000e et seq., chapter 49.60 RCW, and chapter 49.46 RCW.
