{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-62a.9a-327","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 62A.9A-327","heading":"Priority of security interests in deposit account.","body":"The following rules govern priority among conflicting security interests in the same deposit account:\n(1) A security interest held by a secured party having control of the deposit account under RCW 62A.9A-104 has priority over a conflicting security interest held by a secured party that does not have control.\n(2) Except as otherwise provided in [subsections] (3) and (4) of this section, security interests perfected by control under RCW 62A.9A-314 rank according to priority in time of obtaining control.\n(3) Except as otherwise provided in [subsection] (4) of this section, a security interest held by the bank with which the deposit account is maintained has priority over a conflicting security interest held by another secured party.\n(4) A security interest perfected by control under RCW 62A.9A-104(a)(3) has priority over a security interest held by the bank with which the deposit account is maintained.","path":["Title 62A","Chapter 62A.9A"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=62A.9A-327","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:39:28Z","sha256":"9fc984d9994a57cc6010d49ce3c1b7f09a5985b4f36f14487a21de9f7f9872e2","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-62a.9a-3261","next":"us-wa/rcw-62a.9a-328"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
