{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-64.36.210","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 64.36.210","heading":"Unlawful acts—Penalties.","body":"(1) It is unlawful for any person in connection with the offer, sale, or lease of any timeshare in the state:\n(a) To make any untrue or misleading statement of a material fact, or to omit a material fact;\n(b) To employ any device, scheme, or artifice to defraud;\n(c) To engage in any act, practice, or course of business which operates or would operate as a fraud or deceit upon any person;\n(d) To file, or cause to be filed, with the director any document which contains any untrue or misleading information; or\n(e) To violate any rule or order of the director.\n(2)(a) Any person who knowingly violates this section is guilty of a class C felony punishable according to chapter 9A.20 RCW.\n(b) No indictment or information for a felony may be returned under this chapter more than five years after the alleged violation.","path":["Title 64","Chapter 64.36"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=64.36.210","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:40:53Z","sha256":"9a8513518a227001ca0e33b2f4236eb25503bb325d0b3205ec7613920e15cdce","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-64.36.200","next":"us-wa/rcw-64.36.220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
