(Effective until January 1, 2028.)","body":"Unless provided for in the governing documents, the bylaws of the association shall provide for:\n(1) The number, qualifications, powers and duties, terms of office, and manner of electing and removing the board of directors and officers and filling vacancies;\n(2) Election by the board of directors of the officers of the association as the bylaws specify;\n(3) Which, if any, of its powers the board of directors or officers may delegate to other persons or to a managing agent;\n(4) Which of its officers may prepare, execute, certify, and record amendments to the governing documents on behalf of the association;\n(5) The method of amending the bylaws; and\n(6) Subject to the provisions of the governing documents, any other matters the association deems necessary and appropriate.","path":["Title 64","Chapter 64.38"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=64.38.030","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:41:39Z","sha256":"96d904c1a5c747641dc37ec7c607c9d849f102869da1c8b9691461196e2ca322","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-64.38.028","next":"us-wa/rcw-64.38.033"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
