{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-64.70.070","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 64.70.070","heading":"Covenants—Providing copies.","body":"(1) A copy of an environmental covenant shall be provided by the persons and in the manner required by the agency to:\n(a) Each person that signed the covenant;\n(b) Each person holding a recorded interest in the real property subject to the covenant;\n(c) Each person in possession of the real property subject to the covenant at the time the covenant is executed;\n(d) Each municipality or other unit of local government in which real property subject to the covenant is located;\n(e) The department of ecology; and\n(f) Any other person the agency requires.\n(2) The validity of an environmental covenant is not affected by failure to provide a copy of the covenant as required under this section.\n(3) If the agency has not designated the persons to provide a copy of an environmental covenant, the grantor shall be responsible for providing a copy of an environmental covenant as required under subsection (1) of this section.","path":["Title 64","Chapter 64.70"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=64.70.070","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:42:18Z","sha256":"d122f5e0c40debee126bc92d26fbb4622ec4b5892645b02b1362cb8e4edd347d","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-64.70.060","next":"us-wa/rcw-64.70.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
