{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-68.64.030","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 68.64.030","heading":"Persons authorized to make an anatomical gift—During life of donor.","body":"Subject to RCW 68.64.070, an anatomical gift of a donor's body or part may be made during the life of the donor in the manner provided in RCW 68.64.040 by:\n(1) The donor, if the donor is an adult or if the donor is a minor and is:\n(a) Emancipated; or\n(b) Authorized under state law to apply for a driver's license because the donor is at least fifteen and one-half years old;\n(2) An agent of the donor, unless the power of attorney for health care or other record prohibits the agent from making an anatomical gift;\n(3) A parent of the donor, if the donor is an unemancipated minor; provided, however, that an anatomical gift made pursuant to this subsection shall cease to be valid once the donor becomes either an emancipated minor or an adult; or\n(4) The donor's guardian.","path":["Title 68","Chapter 68.64"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=68.64.030","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:01:36Z","sha256":"424f652eed0e529ea28fa534515be926fb3a6096edd44e77e075892a76029ba3","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-68.64.020","next":"us-wa/rcw-68.64.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
