{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.211","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 69.50.211","heading":"Schedule V tests.","body":"(a) [(1)] The commission shall place a substance in Schedule V upon finding that:\n(1) [(a)] the substance has low potential for abuse relative to the controlled substances included in Schedule IV;\n(2) [(b)] the substance has currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States; and\n(3) [(c)] abuse of the substance may lead to limited physical dependence or psychological dependence relative to the substances included in Schedule IV.\n(b) [(2)] The commission may place a substance in Schedule V without being required to make the findings required by subsection (a) [(1)] of this section if the substance is controlled under Schedule V of the federal Controlled Substances Act by a federal agency as the result of an international treaty, convention, or protocol.","path":["Title 69","Chapter 69.50"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=69.50.211","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:36:10Z","sha256":"ea18799cddc13d338be6ee9674a4ea8e4497197c95d653339c2dc7cc76777c75","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.210","next":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.212"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
