{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.475","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 69.50.475","heading":"Cannabis retail outlets—Sale to persons under the age of twenty-one—Penalty.","body":"(1) Except as otherwise authorized in this chapter and as provided in subsection (2) of this section, an employee of a retail outlet who sells cannabis products to a person under the age of twenty-one years in the course of his or her employment is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.\n(2) An employee of a retail outlet may be prosecuted under RCW 69.50.401 or 69.50.406 or any other applicable provision, if the employee sells cannabis products to a person the employee knows is under the age of twenty-one and not otherwise authorized to purchase cannabis products under this chapter, or if the employee sells or otherwise provides cannabis products to a person under the age of twenty-one outside of the course of his or her employment.","path":["Title 69","Chapter 69.50"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=69.50.475","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T01:36:10Z","sha256":"25414afa18106c37e9896383e5b2588da55daaa01dfd06597ab24c30b0b037c7","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.470","next":"us-wa/rcw-69.50.500"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
