{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-7.04a.200","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 7.04A.200","heading":"Change of award by arbitrator.","body":"(1) On motion to an arbitrator by a party to the arbitration proceeding, the arbitrator may modify or correct an award:\n(a) Upon the grounds stated in RCW 7.04A.240(1) (a) or (c);\n(b) Because the arbitrator has not made a final and definite award upon a claim submitted by the parties to the arbitration proceeding; or\n(c) To clarify the award.\n(2) A motion under subsection (1) of this section must be made and served on all parties within twenty days after the movant receives notice of the award.\n(3) A party to the arbitration proceeding must serve any objections to the motion within ten days after receipt of the notice.\n(4) If a motion to the court is pending under RCW 7.04A.220, 7.04A.230, or 7.04A.240, the court may submit the claim to the arbitrator to consider whether to modify or correct the award:\n(a) Upon the grounds stated in RCW 7.04A.240(1) (a) or (c);\n(b) Because the arbitrator has not made a final and definite award upon a claim submitted by the parties to the arbitration proceeding; or\n(c) To clarify the award.\n(5) An award modified or corrected under this section is subject to RCW 7.04A.220, 7.04A.230, and 7.04A.240.","path":["Title 7","Chapter 7.04A"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=7.04A.200","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:37:00Z","sha256":"e1f0871fa04be921cbe0440da8999af13b9c6173db2f2329cb739f85e6dc834b","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-7.04a.190","next":"us-wa/rcw-7.04a.210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
