{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-7.100.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 7.100.020","heading":"Notice to mortgage servicer of nuisance.","body":"(1) A county, city, or town may notify a mortgage servicer that a property has been determined to be abandoned, in mid-foreclosure, and a nuisance.\n(2) A notice issued pursuant to this section must:\n(a) Be accompanied by an affidavit or a declaration made under penalty of perjury by a county, city, or town official that a property is abandoned, in mid-foreclosure, and a nuisance, and the affidavit or declaration must outline at least three indicators of abandonment and be supported with time and date stamped photographs, a finding that the property is a nuisance, and a copy of the notice of default, notice of preforeclosure options, or notice of trustee's sale; and\n(b) Be sent to the mortgage servicer by certified mail.","path":["Title 7","Chapter 7.100"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=7.100.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:39:47Z","sha256":"5269b77ff470aac2ba1e250b2bdf08a3e26362e2d9bef8f7ef426aa1639c6651","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-7.100.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-7.100.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
