{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-7.68.330","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 7.68.330","heading":"Seizure and forfeiture—Distribution of proceeds.","body":"(1) The proceeds of any forfeiture action brought under RCW 7.68.320 shall be distributed as follows:\n(a) First, to the victim or to the plaintiff in a wrongful death action brought as a result of the victim's death, to satisfy any money judgment against the convicted person, or to satisfy any restitution ordered as part of the convicted person's sentence;\n(b) Second, to the reasonable legal expenses of bringing the action;\n(c) Third, to the crime victims' compensation fund under RCW 7.68.090.\n(2) A court may establish such escrow accounts or other arrangements as it deems necessary and appropriate in order to distribute proceeds in accordance with this section.","path":["Title 7","Chapter 7.68"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=7.68.330","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T00:38:27Z","sha256":"c819e63b3bb30c6f5cdbadd34fed0475f1c18061186d817d73c6e695ac86956d","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-7.68.320","next":"us-wa/rcw-7.68.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
