{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-70.127.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 70.127.020","heading":"Licenses required after July 1, 1990—Penalties.","body":"(1) After July 1, 1990, a license is required for a person to advertise, operate, manage, conduct, open, or maintain an in-home services agency.\n(2) An in-home services agency license is required for a nursing home, hospital, or other person that functions as a home health, hospice, hospice care center, or home care agency.\n(3) Any person violating this section is guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day of a continuing violation is a separate violation.\n(4) If any corporation conducts any activity for which a license is required by this chapter without the required license, it may be punished by forfeiture of its corporate charter.\n(5) All fines, forfeitures, and penalties collected or assessed by a court because of a violation of this section shall be deposited in the department's local fee account.","path":["Title 70","Chapter 70.127"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=70.127.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:53:13Z","sha256":"760d929e0ef9a48c848c87dfd123ad828d8fee94f41be048a767adbbac8390a4","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-70.127.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-70.127.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
