{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-70.155.010","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 70.155.010","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The definitions set forth in RCW 82.24.010 apply to this chapter. In addition, for the purposes of this chapter, unless otherwise required by the context:\n(1) \"Board\" means the Washington state liquor and cannabis board.\n(2) \"Internet\" means any computer network, telephonic network, or other electronic network.\n(3) \"Sample\" means a tobacco product distributed to members of the general public at no cost or at nominal cost for product promotion purposes.\n(4) \"Sampling\" means the distribution of samples to members of the public.\n(5) \"Tobacco product\" means a product that contains tobacco and is intended for human use, including any product defined in RCW 82.24.010(2) or 82.26.010(21), except that for the purposes of RCW 70.155.140 only, \"tobacco product\" does not include:\n(a) Cigars defined in RCW 82.26.010 as to which 1,000 units weigh more than three pounds; or\n(b) Alternative nicotine products. For the purposes of this subsection (5), \"alternative nicotine product\" means any noncombustible product containing nicotine from any source that is intended for human consumption, whether chewed, absorbed, dissolved, inhaled, or ingested by any other means.\n(6) \"Vapor product\" has the same meaning as defined in RCW 70.345.010.","path":["Title 70","Chapter 70.155"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=70.155.010","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:43:55Z","sha256":"8b8980aac5ee76f344b19dd636b12d23b634aafbc6b773359e8c9669c00ba113","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-70.155.005","next":"us-wa/rcw-70.155.020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
