{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-70a.105.080","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 70A.105.080","heading":"Additives—Unfair practices.","body":"(1) Each manufacturer of a certified and approved additive product advertised, sold, or distributed in the state shall:\n(a) Make no claims relating to the elimination of the need for septic tank pumping or proper septic tank maintenance;\n(b) List the components of additive products on the product label, along with information regarding instructions for use and precautions;\n(c) Make no false statements, design, or graphic representation relative to an additive product that is inconsistent with RCW 70A.105.060, 70A.105.070, or this section; and\n(d) Make no claims, either direct or implied, about the performance of the product based on state approval of its ingredients.\n(2) A violation of this section is an unfair act or practice in violation of the consumer protection act, chapter 19.86 RCW.","path":["Title 70A","Chapter 70A.105"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=70A.105.080","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T03:58:05Z","sha256":"dd240e46b0ea0b26af257c7cd8b7b115f7ca13d5c3ea41ccb1be85826be4ce00","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-70a.105.070","next":"us-wa/rcw-70a.105.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
