{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-77.95.020","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 77.95.020","heading":"Long-term regional policy statements.","body":"(1) The commission shall develop long-term regional policy statements regarding the salmon fishery resources before December 1, 1985. The commission shall consider the following in formulating and updating regional policy statements:\n(a) Existing resource needs;\n(b) Potential for creation of new resources;\n(c) Successful existing programs, both within and outside the state;\n(d) Balanced utilization of natural and hatchery production;\n(e) Desires of the fishing interest;\n(f) Need for additional data or research;\n(g) Federal court orders; and\n(h) Salmon advisory council recommendations.\n(2) The commission shall review and update each policy statement at least once each year.","path":["Title 77","Chapter 77.95"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=77.95.020","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T04:16:08Z","sha256":"44ba87cecd092ed03556ed4f101814f378b1dac2bf3e7017f03cc902a8cd8f4b","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-77.95.010","next":"us-wa/rcw-77.95.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
