{"data":{"id":"us-wa/rcw-79a.70.005","jurisdiction":"us-wa","citation":"RCW 79A.70.005","heading":"Findings.","body":"The legislature finds that:\n(1) State parks are a valuable asset to the people of the state of Washington, contributing to their health, education, and well-being;\n(2) Well maintained state parks are an attraction and contribute significantly to the economic well-being of the state of Washington;\n(3) Well maintained state parks encourage the appreciation of the natural resources and natural beauty of the state of Washington;\n(4) There is an increasing demand for more state parks and more state parks services;\n(5) There are individuals and groups who desire to contribute to the continued vitality of the state parks system;\n(6) Providing a tax-deductible method for individuals and groups to contribute is an effective way of increasing available funds to improve the state parks system; and\n(7) It is in the public interest to create a nonprofit foundation to provide such a method for individuals and groups to contribute to the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of the state parks system.","path":["Title 79A","Chapter 79A.70"],"source_url":"https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=79A.70.005","current_through":"July 15, 2026","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T04:21:39Z","sha256":"3095bdac642d1f86be817fb43fcb647ff34c331799dd2bfd716072513c5f0474","source_id":"us-wa","stale":false,"prev":"us-wa/rcw-79a.65.050","next":"us-wa/rcw-79a.70.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
