Stat. § 23.119","heading":"Consent to use certain off-highway vehicles.","body":"(1) In this section:\n(a) “All-terrain vehicle” has the meaning given in s. 340.01 (2g).\n(at) “Off-highway motorcycle” has the meaning given in s. 23.335 (1) (q).\n(b) “Off-highway vehicle” means a motor-driven craft or vehicle principally manufactured for off-highway use but does not include a snowmobile, an all-terrain vehicle, utility terrain vehicle, or an off-highway motorcycle.\n(c) “Snowmobile” has the meaning given in s. 340.01 (58a).\n(2) No person may operate an off-highway vehicle on private property without the consent of the owner of the property.\n(3) No person may operate an off-highway vehicle on public property that is posted as closed to the operation of off-highway vehicles or on which the operation of an off-highway vehicle is prohibited by law.","path":["Chs. 23-34, Public Domain and the Trust Funds","Chapter 23 Conservation"],"source_url":"https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/statutes/23.119","current_through":"2023-24 Wisconsin Statutes updated through 2025 Wis.
