Stat. § 341.01","heading":"Words and phrases defined.","body":"(1) Words and phrases defined in s. 340.01 are used in the same sense in this chapter unless a different definition is specifically provided.\n(2) In this chapter:\n(af) “Former military vehicle” means a vehicle, including a trailer but excluding a tracked vehicle, that was manufactured for use in any country’s military forces.\n(b) Notwithstanding s. 340.01 (42), “owner” means, with respect to a vehicle that is leased to a lessee for a period of one year or more, the lessee of the vehicle for purposes of vehicle registration under this chapter.","path":["Chs. 340-351, Vehicles","Chapter 341 Registration Of Vehicles","SUBCHAPTER I REGISTRATION"],"source_url":"https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/statutes/341.01","current_through":"2023-24 Wisconsin Statutes updated through 2025 Wis.
