Stat. § 569.02","heading":"Indian gaming; general duties.","body":"Under the direction of the secretary of administration, the director of Indian gaming shall do all of the following:\n(1) Coordinate all of the state’s regulatory activities regarding Indian gaming.\n(2) Function as an Indian gaming liaison between Indians, the general public and the state.\n(3) Function as a clearinghouse for information on Indian gaming.\n(4) Assist the governor in determining the types of gaming that may be conducted on Indian lands and in entering into Indian gaming compacts.","path":["Chs. 562-569, Gaming","Chapter 569 Indian Gaming"],"source_url":"https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/statutes/569.02","current_through":"2023-24 Wisconsin Statutes updated through 2025 Wis.
