Stat. § 756.01","heading":"Definitions.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) “Juror” means a person summoned in compliance with this chapter or who has taken an oath or affirmation under s. 756.08 (1).\n(2) “Jury” means the jurors and alternates sworn to hear a trial.\n(3) “Jury array” means the annual list of prospective jurors in each county qualified as eligible to serve under s. 756.02.\n(4) “Jury panel” means the jurors present for voir dire in a specific case.\n(5) “Jury venire” means the jurors summoned for a date-specific term of service.\n(6) “Jury year” means the calendar year beginning January 1 and ending December 31.","path":["Chs. 750-758, Courts","Chapter 756 Juries"],"source_url":"https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/document/statutes/756.01","current_through":"2023-24 Wisconsin Statutes updated through 2025 Wis.
