Code § 17A-2-5","heading":"Commissioner of motor vehicles -- Oath and bond.","body":"The commissioner before entering upon the duties of his office shall take and subscribe to the oath prescribed by the Constitution. He shall also execute a bond in the penalty of $25,000, conditioned according to law, and approved by the Governor. The cost of such bond shall be borne by the department as a part of the operating cost of the department. The bond and the oath shall be filed with the Secretary of State.","path":["CHAPTER 17A.
